Cross-cutter

The cross cutter enables quick and clean cutting of roll goods across the running direction.
Triggered by a foot switch, a rotating blade cuts the material along the full width. The length of the material can be set by pulling and can be monitored via the attached display.
The measurement of the unwinding length also offers an extremely simple way of determining the consumption level of the material being cut.
The special design of the blade housing prevents accidental reaching into the blade and resulting injuries.
The cross cutter cuts foam, bubble wrap, printed materials, paper, cardboard, lorry tarpaulins and much more cleanly and reliably.

The picture shows a Duo cross cutter with a cutting width of two metres. The cutting process on this device can be carried out both via the control panel and via a remote control.
In order to keep the cutting cycle as short as possible, the device cuts both when travelling to the left and to the right. This eliminates the need to reverse without cutting.
This also brings an additional safety benefit, as there is no more travelling movement after the material has been cut, only a short movement to the respective end position takes place.
We also offer cross cutters as an assembly. This can then be managed together with other assemblies in a robot cell, for example, via a higher-level control system. This simplifies the overall concept so that unnecessary external communication can be dispensed with.

Integratable Cross-cutter:

Our cross cutters offer a wide range of applications for a wide variety of cross cutting processes. The picture shows a small version of the cross cutter with a width of 60 cm.
This can be easily integrated into your work process or existing work stations. The cutting width is customised to your application.
The cross cutter can be supplied as an assembly without control or as a complete functional unit with SPS control.
