Pick-by-Light Picking monitoring
The function of a picking monitoring system is to ensure and monitor the error-free packing of your goods.
At a manual packing station, the monitoring system checks that the correct parts are packed in the correct quantity. This is done by monitoring the access through a light grid into the parts compartments and comparing it with a predetermined grip pattern.
Packing errors are a thing of the past.
With the light grid used, any width between 12 and 312 cm can be realised in steps of 15 cm. The division of the width into the individual compartments is almost arbitrary.
In order to improve the ergonomic operator situation, the pick-by-light system was built on a height-adjustable substructure developed by us. The height is adjusted via the control panel. It is possible to store personalised height settings in the system and call them up at the touch of a button. To further reduce gripping errors, images of the packed product are displayed on the overall screen as well as article images that can be configured for different products in the system.
