Remote Maintenance (MTS-Box)
The Mobile Teleservice Box or MTS Box allows you to carry out remote maintenance on an S7 system via mobile network. The system is mobile in two senses. On the one hand due to its compact design and the resulting mobility and use on different systems, and on the other hand due to the data channel via mobile network.
The S7 system to be maintained does not require its own TS adapter.
The MTS box is therefore a one-off investment. This also applies to the basic fee for the M2M SIM card. Thanks to its mobile nature, it can be used for all S7 systems on site.
Our MTS box is connected to your system. An M2M mobile phone connection is established via the MTS box, enabling data access to your system. Remote maintenance can now be carried out. The only prerequisite is the installation of the Teleservice software on your programming device.
Remote maintenance can be carried out much faster and without any time delay due to travelling. This reduces the maintenance time and maintenance costs. An MTS box may therefore pay for itself after just one application.
